Sparring Seminar - Hawkes Bay
Sunday, 18 August 2013, 10am
    • Miss Speirs became the first NZ female to win a gold medal in sparring at the 2012 World Cup and is coming to the Hawkes Bay to run a sparring development seminar to help students with their own sparring training and development. 
  • She has over 10 years of experience in International Sparring competition, and is experienced in coaching with two of her own students winning gold in sparring at the World Cup also. This is a chance to learn what it takes to be a successful fighter from some of the best in NZ.

    Two sessions will be held, one for puppies (children) and the other for teenage/adults. (14 and above).

    There will also be a question and answer session after training where you can ask questions and find out more on developing your own training. 

    Location GREENMEADOWS SCHOOL, Osier Rd, Napier 

    Session 1 (Under 14 years) - 10am-12pm ($20) 
    (max $30 per family)

    Session 2 (Over 14 Years) - 1pm - 3pm ($30)
    (max $50 per family)

INSTRUCTOR DEVELOPMENT 24 August 2013, 10am - Levin
KEEP  UP WITH THE PLAY AND STAY AHEAD OF YOUR STUDENTS

Instructor development training is planned to coincide with the Levin grading this weekend.  10am-midday at Events Centre, Victoria Street Levin.  (Do-bok not necessary).  
 
This event will be open FREE to any adult (irrespective of rank), or senior member

Be comfortable in your understanding of TKD protocol.  Understand the why's and history behind some of the protocol's we practice, and in some cases, don't know about.  This is an intriguing look at reasons behind TKD protocol practiced world wide, giving confidence and understanding to every practitioner.

TKD is a culture within a many cultures.  "Cultural diversity and TKD" will give an intriguing understanding the way we carry out TKD protocol in the manner we do.

                           Master Jerzy Jedut (7th dan) Seminar, Palmerston North
 

Our final guest to New Zealand this year is Master Jerzy Jedut. We are very excited to bring you one of the men behind the leading force in ITF competition over the past two decades - POLAND. 

Since 1992, eight of his students have become World Champions and other eight European champions in TKD. Around 150 medals have been won by his students in World Championships and about 500 in European Championships!!

As well as being our special guest coach for the New Zealand Team Camp, we have also arranged for some seminars open to all members and ages. You will enjoy his seminars - which will be challenging and fun. Don't miss the opportunity to train with one of the best!

ITKD clubs are extremely lucky to have been given the opportunity to Host Grand Master Lan for the week following the International Instructors Seminar (IIC). 

GM Lan is one of the Worlds most respected Grand Masters and Martial Artists. His technical knowledge as well as competition coaching expertise make him a compelling instructor for everyone to learn from.

GM Lan lives in Germany as is the Coach of German team. Don't miss the opportunity to train with one of the most amazing martial artists you will ever meet!

Hawkes Bay students have an opportunity to meet and train under Grand Master Lan, in Palmerston North Tue 19th Feb, 2013, 6.30 - 8.30 pm. You need to register on line first.  We will coordinate and share transport and return the same night.
