Pee Wees tournament – April 10th
Location:
Hastings Intermediate School, Hastings Street, Hastings – 9.30am -12.30pm
Events:
Patterns, Sparring (non contact), Power Punch, Special Technique.
Kids enter all events on the day.
Age:
12 years and below
On registration competitors will be sorted into groups based on size for sparring, power punch, and special technique; and grades for patterns.
Rules:
Sparring: Each competitor will have at least 2 bouts.
Flag System for judging based on best technique used.
Strictly no contact. Mouth guard only (no protective gear required)
Equipment – flags
Patterns: Designated pattern (4 direction punch okay).
If the kids don't know a pattern, they will be judged on some of their basic techniques.
Equipment - flags
Power punch: Punching a pad across the room. Play offs until winners are determined. Can be done as a complete group OR in ranks/ages etc
Equipment – paddles
Special Technique:
Flying high kick. Play offs until winners are determined.
Can be done as a complete group OR in ranks/ages etc

Prizes - medals
Entry - $20pp Families x3 or more $50
No paperwork as presentation is one after every division
